Our research topics are the following: mechanisms of angiogenesis, VEGF biology, genetic control and regulation of growth factors involved in angiogenesis and lymphangiogenesis, gene transfer techniques, non-coding RNA biology and translational studies especially in large animal models of myocardial and peripheral ischemia.
Major techniques: Basic and translational studies of therapeutic angiogenesis and lymphangiogenesis, gene transfer, vector biology, siRNA, miRNA and non-coding RNA analysis methods, GRO-sequencing, translational large animal models, GMP manufacturing of gene transfer vectors.
Interested in collaborating on
Biological role, regulation and applications of non-coding RNAs. Translational large animal studies in the area of therapeutic angiogenesis, lymphangiogenesis, cardiac ischemia and regeneration and peripheral vascular disease.
